my belly is changing. now, i know that seems like an obvious statement, but literally it changed overnight!! when i went to bed last night, i wasn't quite as "popped" as i was when i woke up! i seem to be somewhat more round. here's a look:
and i can no longer see my feet:
we have been getting our room ready for abigail the past few days. living with mom, we only have limited space in which the 3 of us can live! so lots of organization is needed! but we are definitely moving into the "getting ready to bring her home" phase of this pregnancy! it's really strange, but exciting as the same time!! here's my favorite part of our organization so far:
alright. i'll get off the baby stuff for now! i'm off to bed!!!

so i am pretty pissed at the moment! the guy that won my auction on eBay for my jeep.....yeah, he's a jerk! i got an email from him after the auction ended saying that he couldn't buy the jeep because of some "emergency" that he needed the money for instead. i was under the understanding that when you win an auction with eBay, it is a legal and binding contract. so i went on eBay's live help section to ask them what to do and technically I can take this guy to court! now, i won't do that. but i am pretty livid right now. so now we are back to square 1 with the car. but on the bright side, this means i get to drive it a little longer....:-)
where do such stupid people come from???

so today has been a wierd day. i felt good most of the day...until i got home. then i started having wierd feelings in my stomach. not quite sick, but not feeling real great, either!
i went to the dr today. had a good check-up! i have gained 7 lbs since my last appt, so my dr is really happy! they are saying i am right on track to gain 25lbs total. that would be good! abigail is doing well. she's already being hard-headed: she ALWAYS hides when the dr looks for her heartbeat. well, today she did a great job of hiding. it literally took 6 minutes for the dr to find her!! she said, "uh, jill, do you think you could get your daughter to be still long enough for me to find her?!?"
i am just thinging to myself, "self, it's starting already!! you're gonna have your hands full!!" but all in all it was a good appt.
we start childbirth classes on monday. that should be fun. every monday night for the next 3 weeks we'll be learning how to breathe, what exercises to do, how to lay, when to call the dr, when NOT to call the dr, what robert can do to help me and NOT get killed (or at least severely hurt!), how to relax (ha! that would be good for me in labor or not!), what pain medications are available and which are good, and so much more!! all for the bargain price of $100. i'm excited. and scared. and nervous. should be interesting.
i went to an interview today and got a job. a part-time job. a VERY part-time job. keeping 2 boys (2 & 4) on thursdays. the family lives 3 miles away from me. that's nice. i've been looking for a job since TMI...do you know how hard it is to get something when you're pregnant?! it's pretty hard!
the jeep is selling. i cried. that's all i have to say about that.
i am working on a HUGE project that i am hoping will work. it's bigger than anything i have ever done in my life! i am praying that this is something the lord is opening doors for, but the leg work on it is crazy! if i can pull it off, i'll be able to do exactly what i want where i want. but it'll be a while before it happens. that's a prayer request to add to your list.
alright. i'm exhausted. i need to go sleep. that's one the that i don't do well anymore. not that i ever did. but especially now. sleep is a rare commodity. but before i go, i'll leave you with a picture of the AWESOME crib bedding set that aunt erin bought for abigail the other day...(thank you aunt erin!!!!)

married for 2 years today! now a baby on the way!
wow. who'd'a thunk?!?
happy anniversary, honey!!
10 things i've learned from 2 years of marriage:
1. i've learned to be silly together. don't be afraid to sing stupid songs you sang as a kid even though your husband is looking at you like you have lost your mind. it makes for great road trips!
2. i've learned that going into your wedding day, there are lots of experiences that both of you bring to the table that make up who you are individually. you have a choice on what to make of the experiences that your spouse had as well as the ones you had. are they completely in the past? if so, leave them there. (trust me, it's harder said than done!)
3. i've learned that conflict can be good. even though i really hate it.
4. i've learned that no matter what happens in your day to day lives, it's ALWAYS better with your spouse.
5. i've learned that i take up way more of the bed than i ever thought i did!
6. i've learned that my husband doesn't need as much much of the bed as he says he does!!
7. i've learned that it's possible to trust my husbands words and actions of love as a true, honest expression of his love for me.
8. i've learned that laughing together and "wrastling" can make a bad day a million times better!
9. i've learned that the simple times of laying in the hammock or talking on the bed make for fabulous conversations.
10. i've learned that even though i am wild and crazy at times, my husband loves me all the more for it. or in spite of it. whichever, i'm loved!!!

Got this from my sister-in-law. Thought it was funny...and true!
What do you expect from such simple creatures?
Your last name stays put.
The garage is all yours.
Wedding plans take care of themselves.
Chocolate is just another snack.
You can be President.
You can never be pregnant.
You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park.
You can wear NO shirt to a water park.
Car mechanics tell you the truth.
The world is your urinal.
You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one
is just too icky.
You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt.
Same work, more pay.
Wrinkles add character.
Graying hair adds attraction.
Wedding dress~$5000. Tux rental~$100.
People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them.
The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected.
New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet.
One mood all the time.
Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.
You know stuff about tanks.
A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.
You can open all your own jars.
You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness.
If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.
Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack.
Three pairs of shoes are more than enough.
You almost never have strap problems in public.
You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes.
Everything on your face stays its original color.
The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades.
You only have to shave your face and neck.
You can play with toys all your life.
Your belly usually hides your big hips.
One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons.
You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look.
You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife.
You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.
You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25
minutes.
No wonder men are happier. Send this to the women who can handle it and
to the men who will enjoy reading it.

we're home!!! it was a crazy busy weekend! the conference was really good...especially for a first time of doing it ever! i worked my tail off which resulted in an eventful friday evening for robert and me. just suffice it to say that it was probably the most emotional i have been up to this point in my pregnancy. it wasn't pretty! but other than that, things went well. but i'm happy to be home.
the ride back was probably the most enjoyable of the weekend. 1 caravan of 4 cars. car 1 = marty and evelyn. car 2 = lex and amy. car 3 = bernie and darryl. car 4 = me and robert. each car had a walkie-talkie radio. we play trivial pursuit games the ENTIRE way home! it was hysterical! it made the 6+ hours trip seem much shorter!!! so thanks guys!!!!
alright. i'm out. i've got a car seat to figure out and a home to find for TONS of baby clothes!

this week has been filled with family and friends that we haven't seen in a while! it started out with going to augusta so see robert's dad in the hospital. turns out that he got a good report and will be going home tomorrow. after augusta, we came down to jacksonville to see my grandmother, but took a detour through waycross to see jonathan, amanda, and amelia. here are pictures from that stop. (amanda, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the clothes!!)
we've been with manamana (my grandmother) today and will leave to go to keystone tomorrow for this conference. it's been a nice week to relax.
here is the most recent picture of my ever-expanding belly:
it's so wierd to think that i'm only a week and a half away from my 3rd trimester! i've been saying all along that i'm ready for abigail to come....but now i'm getting a little nervous!! she's been moving a lot --- last night she decided to have her own disco party as soon as i laid down for bed and proceeded to literally dance the night away! lovely. it is at those times that i have to remind myself that she doesn't know that she's keeping mommy up! (or does she...??) :-)
erin, i miss you!!!!!!

so we're back in augusta. robert's mom called friday night and said that his dad was taken to the hospital for high potassium levels. he had a whole crazy slew of tests done yesterday and hopefully we'll get some results on those today. but seeing as it's sunday, it's not guaranteed. so we're not completely sure how long we'll be here. but whatever it is, prayers would be appreciated.
in other news, i LOVE this picture from amanda's site and had to steal it. i miss both of them!!!
